DAILY WORKSHOPS IN ARIZONA

Rick is available for a shoot designed just for you!  No matter your skill level, Rick will design a personalized day (or more) of shooting and/or computer work flow instruction to fit your needs and desires. Possibilities include the following:

A. Part of the day can be spent at Rick's specially designed water feature to shoot stunning portraits of the numerous desert species that visit for food and water.  Rufous-winged Sparrow, Curve-billed Thrasher, Cactus Wren, Canyon Towhee, Gambel's Quail, Phainopepla, Greater Roadrunner, Verdin, Northern Cardinal, Pyrrhuloxia, Desert Cottontail and Harris Antelope Ground-Squirrel visit year round. In winter, Western Scrub-Jay, White-crowned & Black-chinned sparrows, and Green-tailed Towhee add their own unique character to the mix.

B. Winter also offers several duck species at local ponds to shoot. American Wigeon, Ring-necked Duck, and Northern Shoveler are abundant while Canvasback and Redhead are usually fairly common and approachable.

C. Summer shooting offers a huge array of southeastern Arizona specialties to photograph in the local mountains, desert, and grasslands.

D. Night bird photography is a specialty of Rick's. From April through September there are excellent opportunities to photograph Western & Whiskered Screech-Owls, Elf Owl and Common Poorwill.

Rates: $350/day/person. If travel is required to areas away from north Tucson, a fee of $100 gets our four-wheel drive, high clearance Tahoe that is equipped with bean bags, blinds, battery chargers, and all the photo accessories we might need.
